Italian sculptor, painter and art theorist who is known as one of the main representatives of the Italian Arte Povera movement. Retrospectives of his art have been presented at the Palazzo Grassi in Venice, Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna in Rome and Museu d’Art Contemporani in Barcelona amongst others. The Louvre in Paris recently presented a large-scale exhibition of his works.
