PABLO PICASSO

Born in Málaga, Spain

Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker and ceramicist considered one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century. He demonstrated extraordinary artistic talent since his early years, painting in a realistic manner through his childhood and adolescence before moving on to other creative styles such as Cubism, which he pioneered with Georges Braque, Neoclassicism, Surrealism and Expressionism. He spent most of his adult life in France and was one of the most prolific artists in history producing over 20,000 works of art.
